The Mikado

In the fall of 2001, The Theater At Monmouth began offering a fall musical performance. For the first four years, TAM used the performance slot to honor the tradition of the American Savoyards, the New York company that called Cumston Hall home from the summers of 1952 - 1959. This fall Gilbert & Sullivan fans will be pleased to know that the tradition will continue with a production of the operetta that some consider to be the best of the G & S songbook, The Mikado.

The outrageous characters of Titipu will come to life once again in Cumston Hall. As is our custom in our fall show, the cast will feature professional performers in the leading roles, and members of the community in the chorus. The fall productions are always great fun. You will have your chance to join in the fun beginning September 25th through October 5th.
